Thank you Sam. She has passed on many many years ago (over 20 years...) and sadly, toward the end, she was very old and ill and "snappy", even with family members. It wasn't her fault. She was in much pain and didn't want people near her. I can understand that!
Still, we have many happy memories :)
Best Wishes, Aniko :)

I am sorry to hear about your dalmation Aniko. They are great dogs, very smart and friendly and very attached to their adopted family.

Fabulous Sam!
I have skimmed through your PF and this, so far, is my favourite :)
Snow is not an easy thing to expose "correctly"... you have done a fine job here. Also the composition is great, and I admit to being biased as to the dalmation...:) I used to have one... a female... rest her soul...
Good work, Sam!
Best Wishes, Aniko :)

I am not sure I understand your comment on the title. It was named that way to emphasize that Ezra was a bit embarrassed being caught peing.

Haha! Blends right in the smaller picture. But I wondered by the title if this was what the title might be for. Nice picture though!

I thought this was a family site? Very funny,Sam. Poor puppy, caught with his pants down. But what a beautiful landscape he is in. Just read your bio.You may be a relative learner but you have obviously brought your artistic talent to photography. Very nice portfolio. I would like to see some of your paintings, too. Cheers, Ann.

I am happy you like the picture, but I don't agree on erasing the dog. Without Ezra it would just be another 13 out of a dozen snow lanscape... Bisides I always grab the opportunity to make people smile

Hehehehehehehe, very funny..At first I thought oh I like your oops and then I saw the dog, and realized why it was an ooopppsss.... He goes very well with the picture, just have to teach him to keep his leg down, hehehehe..I love this image, but I think I would have cropped out the dog....ok maybe cloned it out, hehehehe...it's great Sam...That's one of the most beautiful scenes of Winter and this is exactly the way I like to experience it, in pictures...hehehehe....well done...:):)Linda

Sam, you liked the complementary colours in my "dog" shot (thanks for that) and I like the minimalist colour in this one. The slight trace of colour in your dalmation in an otherwise all B&W scene is a nice touch. Love the humour! (About your personal intro, did you know that Goethe said "Life is too short to play chess and do anything else"?

It's gorgeous, lovely soft tones that really capture the feel of the snow. It is a lovely composition, but the addition of your dog - nearly hidden in his surroundings, makes it special. Looks like he is doing fine Margaret Thanks for your comment

Ah, the call of nature within a nature scene. What could be more natural? LOL I can see why this could easily be mistaken for a B&W. Very amusing capture and the image could stand on its own even without the dog's "assistance". Thank you for your kind comment on my photo "winter coat". Looks like your trees are also sporting their winter attire. Best wishes, Kurt

LOL, It's perception. The day after I took my shot it snowed and everything had the black and white look. Whe I got home I couldn't believe how bright and colored everything was and it was pooring down rain:)
BTW, this color shot of yours has excellent B&W tones;)
