WOW Jim - this is remarkable. I don't know how these guys do it. I am terrified of these huge waves... are you one of the guys out there in the waves with your camera in hand? I could never do that but admire the work. In this one, you seem safely on shore. I LOVE photographing the surfers - they are remarkable. Congrats on the publishing and great shot here! You are making my heart race for this guy! :)

Fabulous surfing shot, Jim.
Congrat's on the magazine appearances!
Kind regards, Chris
P.S. I loaded up a similar looking shot just recently, but the wave was very much smaller and there wasn't any surfers on it!! )

congrats on the surfer site posting.

i like the pulled back perspective. it's a view you don't see that often. bits look a bit soft but it could just be the white water spray in the foreground.

What an excellent vantage point... the rough tide in the foreground really adds some power which is re-inforced by the crashing of the wave on top.
It was nice of the riders to wear bright colours and spread themselves throughout the frame as well!
Congrats on getting this published... I haven't read the article yet but I'm on my way!
