I was just wondering as I looked at this one how many shots you took that this was chosen from and then looked through comments and found that you answered it. Your lighting technique worked well. (by the way, have you seen the new Z5 just getting to stores now? hmmm...)

Hi Lea, The light was from a flashlight. I placed it in a can and put the glass on top of the can , the light was coming straight up and I liked how it illuminated the glass and My hand. I had to take about 25 shots to get one or two where the light was right. It's always fun to experiment isn't it! Have a great day Lea! Thanks for looking and asking! Your Friend........John

Very impressive - I'm sure it wasn't easy getting such details (the grooves in the fingers) with such low light. The detail, low lighting and interesting composition make for a wonderful photograph!
