About This is the "Survivor Tree" that stood behind the Alfred P. Murray building during before the explosion on April 19, 1995. It is a 70 year old American Elm that now still stands, even through the destruction, and represents a symbol of human resilience.

I hope that the paving around the tree allows water & air to reach the roots or it won't survive long.

So true. It is something to see. Very moving all the way around. I have not yet had the chance to go inside the museam but next time I am in OKC I am going to.
