For most of the day yesterday, a flock of female cardinals kept congregating in our Hawthorne tree to eat its ripe red berries. Often, when a car would come by, they would suddenly fly away (as they're starting to do here). Inevitably, they would return for more berries until the next car came along. The constant rain throughout the day had little effect, and my son and I watched them for over an hour from the "comfort" (at least it was dry; a little chilly though) of our front porch. 200 iso
You have a lot of cardinals. We thought we were lucky having three pair all winter. Your focusing really emphasizes the birds. Seeing the wings in different positions is interesting. Mary -
