This composition is stunning because of its simplicity and drama. I was there once before I was a photographer and I remember watching the sun go down while my dog ran around so happy from the cool feeling of the night. I felt I was on another planet. You did a good job stirring my memory. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Andree

Excellent composition. You have succesfully found the key to producing perfectly composed photos. Everything in this fits together so perfectly... This honestly should be regarded as some of the most brilliant work ever that at least I, and many others, should look up to as perfectly composed and exposed photo. Simply astounding!

This picture makes me wonder if the plant was the very last of a large crop before the unbroken plain began, or whether it really was as lonely as it looks. And yes, this has the sense of space and the calm beauty that marks so many of your photots.

The way you manage to take landscape images is inspiring!
Its not so easy to great a impressive landscape! There are many disappointments for me in that department!
The composition is wonderful here!
The plant on the right grabs the attention first because its right there in the third quarter and because of its sharpness, gradually the viewer is drawn to the bright fiery orange clouds in the background
Simply a classic!
7/7 :)

Awesome photo Patrick, like where the plant is positioned & the golden light in the background just compliments the image. I can't help but notice the compression in the scan but still it's the composition that speaks. Well done
