are you sure? ;) ;)
nice colours and good conmposition but... but... the flower on the right looks a little bit artificial, it is "flat" i.e. with no depth, just "flatted". Maybe it is caused by sharpening or unsharp mask.
Thanks to the background and the second flower we know that DOF is shallow <-- this is waht I love the most in taking photos of flowers!!!
Anyway, it is great taking into consideration that it is your first flower ever !!!
