Howard, thanks for the comments on my recent photos! as far as the border goes on this shot, well? in my opinion, having a border increases the impact of most shots for some reason when presented on the computer screen. I?ve been seeing frames more often and not just on this site. The trade off is that your image becomes smaller because the frame takes up so much area, but, I felt that the ability to isolate the image from the white page of this site is well worth that compromise. I?m going to try and use this frame on all my upcoming submissions in order to give my portfolio a more consistent feel. I appreciate your comment, I?ve been waiting for a reason to explain why I?m jumping on the frame train. ~Mike
I like this shot and the title. One comment (opinion). I don't think the wide black border works as well here, it is effective on your other recent photos.
