About Last shot of the dunes. Thanks for all your kind comments. This Dune was shot at a different time from Drowned in Sand I. I had two objectives: to capture the morning cool light and the 2 different styles of lines in the dunes. Your critique is very welcome. :)RD

Hope you can make it back Cessy, and just in case you come back, these dunes are along the road from Dubai to Hatta, about 45 drive from Dubai :) Glad you enjoy this series:) --R.

Larissa, I promise it is real, although to be honest from the side of the road it does not look that fascinating. It is a pretty sight for sure, but the detail is not fully appreciated. It is until you zoom into the detail and you crop that the forms come alive. I am glad you like these images :) -- R.

This one is my favorite. It has the wind movement in there as well as the shadow play from the sun and a wonderful color cast as well.
