Beautiful work in PS, Yasmine. I like the way the top layer partially reveals the flower.
I think this work deserves a better original image. There isn't enough detail and sharpness in the center of the flower to do this great idea justice.

nice PS edit ...i like how u managed to hide the falling dead leaves ....with a tone ...and how u let the sunflower appearand how u focused ....with another tone ...2 tones for 2 different state ....shinig state ..and dead leaves state ....nice contrast ...well done ya yasso

the overexposed part in the flower make it like the sun shining, bravo
try another one adding the center of the flower in one of the four lines intersections, the lower left for example, by this it will be a simulation of the rule of thirds :)
