Clever idea Petal! But I hope this isn't your makeup mirror!!! (although I bet you don't need makeup anyway....) Nice vintage mirror and inspired idea to add age by using the dacyed silvering to give a distorted/dirty/incomplete reflection...
Here I am, been away for a few days and look at all the first class images you go and upload!!!

Thanks for your comment(s). And yes this was taken in an old colonial villa or quinta (das Cruzes) in Funchal. A very nice house and garden, in which you sort of 'step back in time..'

Wow, that's really a neat idea, having everything through the mirror really dirty and distorted, to create the feeling of age in the mirrored objects, and acheived by photographing a dirty mirror. Very nice image.
