Thanks for all your fine comments. There is an entire area of Danville - the warehouse district that has these old tobacco warehouses that are now owned by two companies that have invested $$ to fix them up and use for storage and possibly other things. That's the good part. The bad part, that a local photographer told me, is that in the process everything got cleaned up, so the grittier scenes he enjoyed getting are now gone. I was there for only a short time, and would have loved to do some shooting with my Pentax 645, but did not have the time.
These are historical buildings, aren't they? If not, they should be. It's like going back in time, or a movie set. This would be a great cinematography shot right here. Does it echo from the past?
