About This is my favorite in my water series. I think I finally have enough definition on the drop that it stands out from the background. Cropped and hue added in PSP

Alexander,
I shot these using a glass bowl in my sink. I turned the faucet on so it would drip every couple of seconds. Then I just shot a ton of pictures until I got the timing right. For light, I used a table lamp and a flashlight directed right at the drop. The flashlight seemed to give me enough definition in the drop. Above all else, these water shot just take a lot of patience.

Very well captured. I like the composition. I have tried to take some pictures like this one, but I have never been able to manage the light, how do you manage to a) produce the dropping effect? And b) how do you manage the light so different shades of blue are captured?

Great capture. This one is the best in your water series. The shot will always be different everytime you shoot.

Keep snapping

Ben,
I never would have guessed what that was! I went back and looked at it and I see it now. Very creative idea. :)

Wow liquid metal :)
Like those tiny droplets floating around.
Well done,
Ben

btw you asked what the mouse trap photo was. It is a washing basket up in the air blocking my bedroom lamp :)

excellent capture.. nicely done..very sharp.. good work... think it would be cool to look at the drop from a horizontal view to capture the height of the drop..
