Hehehehe...Cheryl...you are such a darling. I have removed the ratings due to some jealous people sabotaging my ratings and also because of the incorrect way the ratings are handled. I don't think there is ever a fool proof way to rate images genuinely.
In the about I said this is a reflection in water, and that is exactly what it is. It was in a dam of water on a farm and it is simply some wayward sticks.
The blue has come about from using the incandescant white balance setting. Very easy...LOL!!

Yes, you are right Pat. I even contempleted removing the stick on the right but I felt it added dimension to the image. Abstract is just that, purely personal interpretation of an image or sight.

Super 'simple' shot!!! Beautiful blue, but a bit 'blurry' eye... not 'as sharp as a needle'... (yes I know it should be vision and nail... but I couldn't resist... ;-D). Still a great capture though!!

Nice shot Judi.... I'm guessing it was part of a much larger image as it seems to be showing the limitations of the camera, which is a shame as its a cracking composition. I love the colours and the reflections and er.... well there isn't much else is there! ;-)

Colour and composition are fantastic.

This one does not have the compositional punch as "It's not the way...." And the raindrops of a few days ago.
There is something very abstract going on here almost like some type of alien symboligy, a compressed diamond and an obtuse arrow head.
You look at it but you are not sure why.. I supose that is exactly what abstract art is suposed to do.
