I like the soft lines in this one.... it makes the image seem more about the powerful colour than the subject itself.
The greens have so many different shades and tones that I feel I could look at this for many hours and still find something new and unique.
Great job finding an alt. perspective!

Well I am envious of this one in a way but I hope not as green,yet. At least my wife did not tell me I look funny. Exceptional depth to this picture of shallow DOF. Great saturated colour and beautiful compositon. Congratulations to this one!

Dear Arwa, Beautiful photo - love the color and composition. Very nice - fantastic work. Please don't worry about awards - it's all politics. I've only been on the front page once and I know I have other shots that are very good (I mean some of my older work was with a top agency at one time) but I also know that some of the UF staff hates my views or whatever so that's that (it's ALWAYS that way). You're a very good photographer and a nice person so don't worry about anything else - you'll end up in the hospital. Take care, Mark

Now that is some vibrant green! I like the different directions the lines of the leaves take your eyes. A good image for this project.

Theres a donors forum where we can suggest photo of the day awards, but it draws the attention of the staff to other photographers and images too!
One of the best things of becoming a donor is the ability to post there!
even better than posting 3 images per day!! :)

There was an infection and I had to take antibiotic for it to heal before surgery
I had an appointment just over a week ago and I was too scared to go, so whats happening now is that im avoiding the doctors and trying to forget about the surgery
Not a smart thing to do :-\

the dominant green colour is cool!
The DOF gives also a very abstract sense at the picture.
