Hi Carlheinz ! I don't know if there is such a difference of quality between this lens (I had a very good price thanks to a friend !) and the Sigma that was on the cam when I bought it ! I changed the lens once in the middle of a serie and could hardly see on the pics when I made the change !
Anyway, my favorite cameras are still my Contax - but I have so few... that's why I use the digital ones !

Hi Paul ! Well the picture has been done in Paris, but exactly where is a little bit difficult to say : could be in the arrondissements where I am very often : could be the Xth, around Place de la République (probably there !) or in a street of le Marais where I have been a lot recently ! It comes from a painted door where were a lot of small adverts or posters and just remain some pieces of paper sticked on that blue door. I just saturated a little bit the picture, but it's not far from how it cam out of my 10D ! Cheers !

rivedo parigi, una grande città, ma è l'affascinate astratto che hai ripreso il vero "clou"!
un semplice muro che sembra una piscina, una vasca , un acquario dove vivono i pesci, oppure un immenso cielo blu puntinato di aerei..
mi piace, come si dice in italia "un casino"..
