Thank you, Alison. I didn't think he was a grizzly, but I wasn't sure. Cheers, Ann.

He is wonderful. I think there is a breed called "Brown Bear" (Ursus Arctos)Found in Europe North America and North Asia.It is the same family as the grizzley bear. Doesn't he look totally cuddley. Daren't try tho..lol Become bear dinner. Fantastic capture. Well done.

Thank you, Gayle, for your kind comments. I'm not sure which breed of bear he is, but his claws are very lethal looking. I would love to see one in the wild but I think I would run the other way, too. Cheers, Ann.

hi and thanks for comment on my Hansi-lighthouse image...this looks like a Grizzly bear, but i can't see the distinguishable hump on back....saw these in the wild in Yellowstone Nat'l park,Wyoming and tried to get a shot of one further up a hill, but when looking through my telephoto i noticed it turn around and they can run faster than you can imagine,so i ditched the idea and went back to the car!...great detail and clarity,Ann...regards,gayle

Thanks Margaret. No need to worry. The closest thing we've got to bears are Koalas. Mind you they can get pretty mean at breeding time. Cheers, Ann.
