About U No Who frequently suggests that...
a Title tends to sway the viewer's mind...

He also says...
Less said is best said...

But this submission begs a commentary...
or at least a recipe...

Ingredients:
* 1 cup flour
* 1 extra large egg (as this one captured)
* enough water to fill half an eggshell

Directions:

Beat the egg before adding it and the water to the flour. (I use regular all-purpose flour, not the fancy semolina kind) Add a little more flour if needed to keep dough from being too sticky. Knead until it is smooth and glossy, then run through pasta maker as per your usual procedure OR as our Italian grand-mothers... cut the dough into three or four balls and roll out each one, separately of course, on a floured surface, until it is only around an eighth of an inch thick.

Use a very sharp knife to cut into noodles of the width you desire and drape over something (yeah, I have a formal pasta drying rack...(simple bamboo rods from an old blind) draping a broom handle between two chairs works just fine...) to dry. If the noodles are very short, you can sit them on a cooling rack to dry but you'll probably need several cooling racks to make this work. Allow to dry at least an hour, up to overnight.

Now do not forget to invite U No Who over... he'll bring some vino rosso...

a kitchen between reality and fiction...is needed to find me preparing handmade noodles...but the wine is preferred and watching you doing it...

it is fun to talk and listen to you about food...

Wow, I'll bring the vino if you'll make the noodles! HAven't had those since my Italian grandmother made them. As for the titles, well, my photos seem to tell me what their name is, it's never the other way around. Nice shot too! :) Dottie

I love the lighting in this shot. Really plays off the gold nest. Pretty egg, is that a robins egg? The thing I love most about your shots is the story you tell. It really makes the whole thing worth while for me. Makes a mind see differently. :) Thanks for your stories and humor Lawrence.

The nest looks like real gold and is a beautiful designed piece...but the recipe perhaps is worth gold :)Have to try it,as I tried so many noodle recipes (with and without eggs)...but not really satisfying...
Should I succeed..do look for the vino rosso :-)
