About Went fishing last night and had some fun with the cam of course. This little lady was sitting next to me and I had the best time just watching her. I think its a female because of her size. Females are a bit larger than male Indian Stick insects and she was pretty big. Or it was pretty big.
They live up to about a year and really dont do anything but reproduce. They are pretty much harmless but some are known to be able to spray something that can cause temporary blindness and pain to humans. So now I have decided that I do not want to play with her anymore. lol

You know those times when you just want to disappear for a while and take a break (by the way...glad you decided against the break) and blend in with the surroundings in order to capture a fresh gulp of calming air(or maybe that is just me)well this is what this shot reminds me of! You have captured a peice of the masterpiece of God's hand. What a cutie!

Thank you Margaret. Yes, i was just sitting there and all of a sudden this stick moved! So of course I had to study it a few minutes then get the cam out. Very interesting creatures.
Thank you again on the comment.

Just to spot a stick insect is great, but to get such an excellent shot of it amazing, the composition would be nice even without the stick insect there, lovely colour tones

Thank you for the comment. Actually I think this one is an Indian Stick bug and is harmless, but yes I will keep my distance and just play with her with my camera. Thanks again.
