I am not sure, but you may be at the limits here with what you could capture with your lens.

yeah, I know what you mean. Yes I used a tripod, but my shutter/aperature settings might have been just slightly off. I don't know.

Pretty picture. Actually the shutter speed was selected short enough to allow a clear view of the moon and long enough to capture the star next to it.
