Great shot, I love the strong colors and color contrast here, dramatic lighting. A sacrifice @ the left side would not hurt IMO, and I tried a selective focus action on the sunflower with FocusMagic (hope you dont mind)

Multumesc. Ai dreptate cu atmosfera.. Pentru un peisaj frumos trebuie sa fie ceva diferit. In schimb, daca vreau sa pozez insecte..trebuie soare si multa lumina.

Este printre cele mai frumoase foto ale tale;un BIP bine meritat, felicitari!
NU-i asa ca inainte de ploaie si dupa sunt cele mai frumoase momente pt. a face foto; atmosfera e propice, cel putin mie asa mi se pare!

excellent shot..love the sky in the background, ver dramatic and moody..the flower is a bit soft but I think the overall composition makes up for it.. congrats on the BIP...nicely seen and captured.. good work..oh.. and yes, the pillar/tower adds to the overall composition

it looks better with the transmission tower, as long as the weather is as bleak looking as it is. for some reason the tower and the bad weather go together.
sunflowers are excellent subjects for photos. just havent seen any of them in ages.

I wish it was sharper too, but the focus was on the flower from centre and the enhancements from PSP also added a little blur on the background :(
