Nice capture, well lit.
Shame about the manipulation, it ruins an otherwise excellent photo.
Apart from that, you shouldn't have cropped to tightly. A bit more room would have been better IMO.

This would work in the Grainy Film for Effect category. . .she doesn't appear sad but very thoughtful. The body position fosters the same image that's on her face. Neatly done.
