hi david,

it took me a while to get what i didn't like in here.

a lot is just beautifull like your other work. the expression and mood, the colours and tones, the fuzzy effect from the tall grass that suits her dreamy look.

but there was something bothering me and i guess it is the horizontal frame that makes us concentrate in the surroundings rather than on her.

i tried this vertical frame to see if i was right. what do you think?

david, i realy enjoyed from your high understanding of harmonies and rules of composition . your shots are flawless and attractive in creat unusual moods in portrait,i realy admire you. finding this angle for this portrait is fantastic.the DOF works perfect to catch the attention on the model. and you have very good model ( your wife ) with a deep calmness in her look.
