Igor, Note that this is already a B/W image, it's just that it's toned in blue. The histogram shows it to have plenty of shadows & highlights, so not sure what you are seeing there. This was a dark scene with the surfer in silhouette. Thanks for your comment.

Lovely composition Lily... the diaonal line of the surfboard is very effective and adds a lot to this image. Very well done!
On the UF meet in Newcastle we saw a surfer out riding the waves and I immediately thought of you so.... here he is! Taken with the 1000mm lens from about a half mile away! This is uncropped....
