About Well, I'm off by a few days but on 8 / 8 / 69 four of the most talented musicians of our time walked across this street to make the cover of their last album. The last time all 4 Beatles ever played music together was at EMI Studio (on the left with the white fence. Now called Abbey Road Studio) on August 20th, 1969 to finish up the Lennon song "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" which was the last song on side one (pre CD of course). They went off into legend and now, sadly, only 2 remain. No PS used.

It?s very curious that a so famous place has a very normal look, except for the zig-zag lines in the middle of the street, but your words let me understand it?s a piece of history of the music, anyway I like more Rolling Stones ;) Bye, Max

Dear Angelo, I can't go there. You Londoners (Brits, etc) already make one big mistake by driving on the wrong side of the road -LOL (most people are right handed - the shifting hand on a stick should be the right hand) so calling it Zebra would jst add insult to injury. But Zebra is cute - hahaha (like Brithish "Birds") And Mark , I agree, should have gone out with Julian when there was 3 (since he sounds so much like his dad) or at least a couple benefit shows - well, thank Chapman. There's some good interviews with McCartney in the new Mojo and Q magazine's. The "Live in Red Square" DVD is really good with some great versions of never before played live "I Got a Feeling", "She's Leaving Home", and "Helter Skelter" (which he also did at Live8). The Harrison tribute show is really good too (on DVD) with a lot of rare Harrison Beatle songs played ("The Inner Light", etc) Never gonna hear Lennon stuff unfortunately..........

Yes, only two lads remain. Sigh....
I still think they should come together again. Pardon the pun. There's Julian & Sean Lennon, and George's kid(?). With the money they can generate, they can do a lot of good for charity; even buy the whole darn rainforest in South America.

There is nothing much about this photograph, except for the fact that it stirs some people like myself emotionally. What an eye-opener, and it makes one think of the time that's passed by so quickly.

Speaking of music, have you heard Fiona Apple's song "O' Sailor"? Genius.

Awesome shot, and an even more awesome band.

True story:
Dr. Demento had a girl call in to request "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". He asked her which version she wanted to hear, Steve Martin's or the Beatles. Her stunning reply was, "Who are The Beatles?".

The good doctor commemorated the call with a few moments of silence on the air. :(
