LOVE IT.. LOVE IT... LOVE IT !!! The colours, tones everything.
I wanted to do more rolling hill shots from my visit but unfortunatly I was a little too far North and the weather was not the best.

Thanks for your appreciation Carsten. The technique exists in overlaying Gaussian blurred layers blended in with the picture, and in finding the right contrasts in the shot.. not easy, i had to retry several times before i found the right mix ;-)

Looks almost 3D, intriguing color palette. KInd of colored IR or B&W/ color composite technique ? An awesome landscape, and an original Toscana shot

Peter,
I am really jealous, you seem to have captured a magical moment here, the lighting is sublime, understated and extremely enchanting. I would probably dodge the trees though, just to bring out the shadow detail a little, they render completely black on my monitor, which is calibrated correctly. I get a reading of RGB 0,0,0 for the trees which, although silohuetted nicley, could benefit from fine detail and perhaps a little color. Tough when you are shooting into the sun, I know, but perhaps you used RAW to capture this scene and can bend the lighting a little. Just a thought. If you do shoot RAW, try exposing two different files from this same image, bracketing the exposure for shadow and highlight detail, then use PS to overlay them and see what you get. Thanks for commenting on my photos, I am a big fan of your work. cheers, t
