Portra is my favourite colour material for middle format :)In Yashica Mat change lenses is possible. You may use telephoto Yashinon for example to portrait(+/- 112mm) or wideangle Yashinon for example to landscape( +/- 58,4mm) Both lenses are very good quality. http:// www.crocuta.com/ yashica/ auxlens.html [no space] regards m.

thank you for the comments. she likes the sweets too, but the photo session costed one barbie :) Sometimes I use Yashica, because I love square format (and now also have possibillities to print b&w), but what I dont like of the camera I have its that not possible to change lensses. I need something closer... Well, I am starting to think about something more serious of middle format - specially now, as my Contax is broken, and have no desire to go back digital. I have never tried Kodak Portra. Greetings r.

Hmm..does she like sweet too ? ;)btw - I bought Yashica three weeks ago, but older model D with worse lens Yashicor(it is unfortunately triplet - your Yashica has good newest lens Yashinon ) Despite it's very, very nice toy :) Imho the best color material for Yashica is Kodak Portra UC 160 or 400.

Very nice portrait and colors, Ruta. Slightly oversharpen, imo, but perhaps it's only my vision. Nice documentary shot, anyway..:)
