About This old building can be found at the Deming Log Show Grounds. As I was taking this shot a friend came up and was telling me that him and his wife actually LIVED in this house early in their marriage (many years ago, obviously!). Don't you just love old things???

Kathy, I know you're not THAT old! So, how old is your friend? I wonder who lives there now. Just kidding. :-) I will be if the price of gas continues to keep going UP. Nice capture of the background as well, shows how pretty our state really is. Yeah, I love the roof too! Lord bless ya.

Woo I love this Kathy. There's something massively attractive about nature reclaiming her realm over man-made structures. I would have cropped out the ver edge of the structure at right (which would also have decentralised the subject haha - secret joke) and cropped the very top, which doesn't add anything and evidences a bit of flare (I think).

You have a sense of humor Kathy and that is good. Any avid photographer needs as much as he or she can muster when one gets "Dust Bunnies" on his sensor filter. Good shot.

Regards,

Tom

There's a house down highway 9 like that that always draws my attention with a tree growing off the roof. Cool shot!

Oh how gorgeous is this? Gotta love that roof!

Like the way you've used the tones from the logs as your frame. Really pulls it all together and adds to the charm.

Well done Kathy!

I love it! What a great photo. I love how you framed the picture with some of the trees behind the house. It would still be a nice photo if you cropped them out, but leaving them in gives such great lines for your eyes to follow and the green leaves on the trees play off of the green on top of the house perfectly. Great job Kathy!

Great "mobile" home, Kathy! The roof needs a little watering from time to time, everything else seems maintenance-free! Good spotting! Love the towering trees, giving a sense of scale. Regards, Ina
