That is a brilliant image! I love the tone and the mood of the picture... it's inspiring stuff, especially as there's a harbour just 5 minutes away from me at the minute!

I love all of your uploaded photos, but I think this one and 'Infrared July' have to share the top slot for me. Amazing :)

Wonderful capture and good perspective. I like the gray scale better than the color so good choice there. Well framed and fine texture. It's also pretty moody as well and brings a sense of closure. Congrats, thanks for the comments on my picture and nice camera!! ;)

Hi Sally,

you find something very attractive in the sea ;-) awesome subject, and especially the toning, the weird perspective and the wide angle effect make the image. maybe a stronger frame add some more spice to the picture?

thanks for your constant support and take care,
Thilo

I got everything muddy - never mind the feet!
I thought about a colour version - but I over-processed it and messed it up!
I've attached a copy for you to see.

Oh dear, I do seem to be getting it wrong. Everyone else likes this one but I find that boat just too pushy.

Sally,

Wonderfully done my friend. I just stare at this in awe...

I love the contrast, cropping, angles, DOF and the lighting on this 1... Not to mention the horizion is level, which most people miss when shooting @ angles like this...

My hat is off to you,

Martin

Great shot in B&W!!! Wonderful tones, angle and textures and good composition... well spotted!!! That boat isn't going anywhere.... unless someone does some major DIY... ;-D!!! But maybe a fireplace is the best/most 'humane' option....
