Fantastic composition! This is a great balance of the colored trees against the large dark backgound and the water below. The large negative space creates major impact. Excellent eye!

its good realy I liked it yet what about the trees in the background,they are like clouds of grain,and the water in front, a film, a 50 Velvia perhaps, with 50 or 35mm lens would have done this picture great,congratulations anyway...

Most excellent and a testament to seeing a picture in your mind and then waiting until it unfolds at the right moment, even if it is 3 hours.
Also amazing is that the trees look like evergreen, yet they are yellow as are most of the ones on shore. I've never qute seen that in an evergreen.

Lovely colours and tones of this small island. It was worth to drive 3h and waiting for this light. Looks like a phantasy.
