this is terrific! i really like this original shot...i also like seeing someone else carries their camera around all the time. i especially like the "muted" colors and how you positioned them in the frame: yellow, blue, green.

Thanks for the nice words, Angela! No, I didn't use the flash, but I had to kick up the colors quite a bit in PS. I should have taken a couple of shots with flash just for comparison.

Another gorgeous fall shot! And I wouldn't have guessed it was on a car windsheild. It actually creates a very cool, artistic, affect with the glass and the water. did you use your flash? Very cool. Wonderful work Kathy!

Fantastic image, Kathy! Very moody, looks as a storm or flood or hurricane is happening beyond the windshield. It's amazing how a single brown leaf, surrounded by waterdrops and frost and the white blur can evoke so many feelings! This one has all the signs of late fall, cold weather, rain, wind - all in one. Wow this is a great shot! I LOVE IT A LOT! There is something really special about this one. The texture on the leaf looks like a painting. The vague outling of the trees at the bottom is perfect. This one is an award winner Sissy. One of your best!

Oh, nice work Kathy. How perfect a photo op is that?! Great macro. The detail in the leaf is stupendous. If it were my windshield, there'd be my son's sticky finger smudges obscuring the whole lot!

Good catch Kathy and very well deserved indeed. This image has lovely elements in it. I love the colours and light. They way the veins illuminate through the leaf. The water running off the windsheild adds a wonderful texture. I like this image very much. Cheers - Ann :)

What a great unique capture Kathy. The light shining through the leaf creates a wonderful color and enhances the textures. I like the varying water texture on the windshield itself as well. Wonderful shot and well composed.

This is really lovely. I like the subdued colors; the orangy-brown contrasts nicely against the grey of the sky. The waterdrops are a bonus. Well done.
