About ...Are better than one. 2005 Miramar Airshow. I think I like this 20D for action shots. I got everything that I set out to get, too bad the weather didn't provide better lighting and as George Marks pointed out MCAS Miramar is not a photogs friend as you sit on the North side facing south with the sun behind the planes east to west all day.

Damn near PERFECT symmetry, Andy...
almost as if they'd rehearsed it like that! ;)

On of my most thrilling moments was driving to the air show at Miramar, and realizing I was too late to get in and get a good spot, I opted for a hilltop to the west. Unknown to me was that this was the geographical SPOT for the Blue Angels join-up.

Just as awesome as seeing them flying inches apart is seeing them closing in on the group at 3 to 4 times group speed, and in the length of the jet, bleed off all that speed and nestle back into formation...WOW!

Bad luck that you had to make this shot against the sun Andy, but it's a great one anyway. Best regards, Harry
