About Taken at the focal length 24mm, spot metered from distant hill and the darkest part of the sky. Standing Stone situated in the Comeragh mountains Co. Waterford. Raw file was converted using Raw Shooter Premium and then converted to black and white using a CS2 plugin which replicated a red filter on Ilford delta 100, then toned for effect.

Near Dungarvin John, on the hill opposite is a huge tranmission tower overlooking Dungarvin. Have you tried RawShooter yet?

Nice shot, great sky, and excellent RS/PS work. Whereabouts in the Comeraghs is this?

Yeh I think I should be able to find the spot again, its a perfect spot for winter shooting - low sun et all.

Well Keith - technically well exectued at all stages of the process. The sky looks amazing - the whispy clouds really help fill the frame. I'd say this place would be great frosty in weather - we'll have to give it a lash.

Great image. Really nice composition and the clouds are perfectly placed and shaped. The stone looks a little over sharpened but that may just be the downsizing for the web.
