1/ Pick up your camera. 2/ Go to airport. 3/ Buy a ticket to Prague. 4/ Get on plane. Make sure boarding pass mentions "PRAGUE" or "PRAHA" somewhere on there. 5/ Get off plane. 6/ Snap until your right index finger hurts. 7/ Don't allow them to make you leave until they display automatic weapons AND demonstate the will to use them. 8/ Plan your next invasion. Maybe change your name so the authorities won't be alerted.
This is a statue high up on St Vitus Cathedral, by Prague Castle. No idea who he is, may be Vitus himself. The black statues with the gold highlights I found utterly compelling. What's not shown, of course, is the shot planning, the preparation, the agonising over composition, the internal arguments over cropping. These, in total, amounted to about 3 seconds. Prague lays down on it's back and screams "Take gorgeous pictures of me."
Laurie! Photographer and creative writer extraordinaire! I am still laughing at the 'about' section! Be careful, the writing skills might eclipse the photography skills . . . though not in this case. A great capture . . . (and I guess there's a difference between Provo and Praha . . . I wound up in Utah!)
