The mornings like these are aweful to be out in but as you have found they make for some great photographic opportunities. I love the little area of colour in the foreground that increases the mood of the foggy conditions. Great stuff Kathy. Best wishes to you.....Ray

Great picture Kathy. It looks like the blueprint for that particular style of bridge was very popular, I see them everwhere I go.

Exceptional image Kathy, I love fog and your fog series. It's spectacular how the branches seem to follow the same pattern as the metal rails. All blend in color and in intensity, shrouded in the mystery of the fog! Fantastic series! I think I know why you're getting up early :) and good luck with the cafe! Ina

Yeah, we've been having some pretty amazing mornings here with the fog. I've really been amazed at some of the photo opportunities when the sun starts to break through the fog. The view has been great out my window! Too bad I'm out of film! Another good reason to go digital. :)

The moody feel of the foggy images are so beautiful! I love the trees in the foreground and the colorful leaves at the lower bottom. I have never experienced fog in real life. But love them in photos. Beautiful shot Kathy!

ooooohhh... yeah, me likey da fog series :))
Seriously though, since it's been foggy round your way lately, take advantage as much as possible. Get up and out real early and try slow shutter speeds. Even though it may be a little dark, you'll still get plenty goodo light in the lens and the fog will be outstandingly moody...
This is a great post by you. Keep'em coming Kathy!
Cheers and thanks so much for your continued encouragement! Rina

this is beautiful if spontaneously u are falling in series it will bring many surprises and many new things which are old but will be new(for u), generally people see what they want to see so they miss many things which are happening around us yes, photography is one aspects which opens eyes into the other world that revolves without conditioning which generally people suffers and do not see the vast beauty that is all arounds us the dance of the wind the the melting clouds chirping of the birds the falling leaves and so on ....... welcome to the new world.....kathy
