This works, Peter! I think it is the white pattern blurs from the wings superimposed on a blurred background that brings it together to suggest motion. There is an impressionistic effect - balance of realism and fantasy especially when viewed from a distance. Thanks for introducing yourself by commenting on my flower photos.
