A fascinating image which builds interest on several levels. The basic composition engages the eye well. The viewer is then left interpreting the nature of the metallic spheres on a conscious level, while the unconscious wrestles with the anatomic placement of the hands. We know the objects are behind the back, yet the position in the frame makes them appear "forward". The subliminal combination asks several questions and thus actively involves the viewer. Surprising powerful for what appears to be an ordinary image at first glance.
