Q. Will this work?

I have a 100mm Canon macro lense with the Canon macro ringlight. But I wanted a little more distance so I was thinking about upgrading to the Tamron 180mm lense. The problem is if I but the canon 72mm adapter will the macro light fit the Tamron?? Any help with this would be great!!

You need to find out what the filter thread is for the tamron. If it 72mm then it will if it isn't then you can buy adapter ringsto step it up or down.
