Asked by delete my account    (K=3679) on 1/1/2005
I want to learn how to make a woman as beautifull as possible.. I'm going to the beach soon with the girl on the picture ( a friend ) but how to use light, make up etc...etc..?

Thanks!

Awoman's beauty,(or lack of) will show up no matter. Of course, if she has bettre form fitting clothes, or good make up, that will help. In addition, don't have this person facing directly into the camera. Withthe body stance turned slightly to the left or right, then have her turn her head facing the camera.
It''s just a matter of practice, especially if one has a digital camera.

Women are beautiful already so it's just a mattre of finding the best profile, with out including body fat, skin marks, good posture, positioning, and lastly, location.

I suggest that you examine books on how to photograph women;there are a good many on the market. In addition, practice with the lady, and above all let her feel comfortable, not in an awkward strained position.

Take a while, and soon you'll have all the ladies lined up for their own portraits.

First thing, if you are going to shoot at a beach, shoot early morning or late afternoon. Mid-day sun is the worst possible time for beach shots because the sun is directly overhead causing shadows in the eyes and other undesirable places. Probably, a reflector or fill flash should be used to eliminate harsh shadows. If you shoot with a fill flash early morning or late afternoon, the color temp will be warmer (desireable) than noon sunlight or a fill flash so I usually use an amber filter on my flash to warm the shadows a bit (they could come out too blue). As far as posing, a good place to start is here on Usefilm - a lot of good portfolios here you can study.
