  Q. Bronica ETRSi Little Red Light?

Asked by Theunis Stofberg    (K=203) on 11/25/2002
hi
I have finally got around to trying medium format cameras and bought myself a Bronica ETRSi secondhand. I understand and can operate the whoel camera. Waht i dont understand is what the little red light is for. It goes on in the viewfinder when you depress the halfsunk button on the top left hand side just before the cartridge connection. Maybe i am asking a stupid quiestion ut would someone please answer me.

The little red light comes on when the camera has power and the shutter has been released. If it doesnt come on then your battery is low or dead and the camera is operating on full manual mode which means it only takes a picture at 1/500th of a second. hope this helps

The button just behind the shutter speed dial is the battery check button. If the light comes on, it means the battery is installed correctly and there is sufficient power for the electronic operations.
