I prefer Ilford FP4, HP5, and Pan F. I like Kodak Tri-X. Oddly enought I love Tmax 100 in 35mm, but I dont care much for it in 120. I prefer these films in Hc-110 and Rodinal.

E100-VS - For landscapes/nature with little or no sky. E100-S - For Everything else including sky. Velvia rate 40 - Not very often anymore but special occasions. Astia 100 - Nice reciprocity for star trails etc. T-Max100 - I have loved this b&w film exclusively for nearly ten years, I don't shoot anything else in b&w.
Thats it... Soon I'll be trying E100 G/GX

I really like Reala . The colors seem more natural than with portra .The grain seem finer to me .

I am strictly a fuji girl. I adore the provia and the saturated colors I can get. I know some think it is too cool a film, but I have always had good luck with the warmer tones in provia. aj

This is very interesting. Although a new photographer, I find myself shooting a lot of Agfa APX lately. I like the lower contrast and tonality of this film, and I only shoot B&W.

Agfapan 100 APX in Rodinal 1:50-Smooth grain and no blocked highlights.
Ilford SFX 200 for creamy skin tones and dramatic landscapes.
Tri-X Pan (not Pro) when I want grain and atmosphere.

Don't forget the venerable Verichrome Pan. It's available only in 120. It has a long straight line and forgives errors very nicely.
Tried a couple of rolls of the new Ektachrome E100 G which made me switch to Fuju and velvia.

Verichrome Pan, once the default film for all kinds of odd formats from 110 to Cirkut, was discontinued about a year ago, though there may be a few odd rolls floating around.

Interesting question, I'm sure this could spark some debates!
My choices are (I shoot 6X7 most of the time):
1. Fuji Velvia for landscapes early in the day. I do not have enough experience with the new Velvia 100F YET.
2. Kodak 100 VS or 100 GX for landscapes later in the day.
3. Fuji NPC or NPS for color portrait work.
4. Ilford Pan F for B&W portrait work.
5. Ilford SFX and HP5 for B&W landscapes.
6. When I can find it the old Tri-X for that old time look.
All B&W films developed in PMK.
I'd be interested in hearing opinions on the new Velvia 100F and Berger 200 B&W roll film.
Take care all, Chip

At the moment I am shooting Portra 160 and 400, NC, VC and UC, to test them against each other. Once I've used up my stock I will try some mono film, probably Tri-X.

B&W -- XP2 (C-41 and easier to get developed around here, don't shoot that often to matter in B&W)
Color Slide -- Velvia 100F for Saturation Astia 100F for People Shots
Color Print -- NPS, or NPC 160

All E100SW all the time.
Guess I'll have to change since Kodak discontinued it.
