  Q. Any experience of Brooks Veriwide Plaubel 100?
Roger Williams
Asked by Roger Williams   Donor  (K=86139) on 11/28/2003
I like panoramas, and my photographic "eye" is definitely biased towards the wide-angle end. I've become interested in the Brooks Veriwide, which seems to be fairly widely available and within my budget. Does anyone have experience or opinions of this camera? are there any known problems or things to look out for? I like the idea that it will cover a wider angle than my TX-1, is rectilinear, and can readily be trimmed to panorama format with a pseudo "shift" capability depending on whether I trim from the bottom or the top of the negative. Sounds good to me...
