Q. RB67 Power Winder Question

I recently bought an RB67 Pro S, a 120 back, and the 120/220 power winder. I have the manuals and have shot several rolls of B&W and transparency with great results.

One thing I have not figured out is when I use the power winder, I can't use the mirror lock up function. When I push the shutter button, the film advances before I can take a picture using the mirror connection. When I use the 120 back, I can put a cable release into the mirror lock up connector, release the mirror with the shutter release, then use the cable to take the picture. What am I missing to acheive this?

I love this camera in spite of my ignorance : )

So it does work with manual advance? Seems like a non-issue since the times when you use mirror-up won't be limited by how fast you can wind the film? Or is it not possible to use the manual film advance when you have the winder on?
