  Q. Another fixer question?

Asked by Peter Araiza    (K=83) on 12/11/2004
Thank you all in advance for your help. I have kodak rapid fixer. the information for the mix is for 3,800ml, i want to use it as a one shot solution for 375ml. The mixing directions says take 946ml of fix solution A add 104ml hardener solution B add water to make 3,800ml. Is it the same if i take 93.4ml fix A add 10.3ml hardener B and bring the volume to 375ml. Or does anyone know the correct amount to use.

Peter, that would seem to make sense to me. If you want 10% of the amount, divide each of the components by 10. So wouldnt it really be 94.6 of A and 10.4 of B and bring to 380ml. Actualy with fixer I don't believe it has to be that precise. A ml either way will not matter much.
