  Q. ink jet paper
Patrick Ziegler
Asked by Patrick Ziegler    (K=21797) on 12/29/2004
I'd like to know what people are using for inkjet paper. I use the standar HP Premium Glossy Photo Paper you can get at Wallmart. It's not bad but would like some texture, more photo realistic.

I have an Epson printer, so I primarily use Epson papers.

I also tried Ilford Smooth Gloss and Stone Editions Premium Luster, both with good results.

I have tried then all but now I only use Moab Entrada paper.

Hi Pat. I use an Epson 1280 converted to Lyson "Quad Black" inks. I have tried a variety of Epson, Kodak, and Lyson papers, but my favourite is Epson "Matte Heavyweight". This choice is based on the fact that it looks best under glass, to me anyway!!!!

I have an Epson 2200. I use either Ilford Smooth Pearl or Epson's Enhanced Matte depending on what I am printing. If I am printing something that is just B&W, I always use the Matte paper. The Ilford is fabulous, and not too pricey.
