  Q. Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di - anyone using this lens on a Digital Rebel??

Asked by Marcel Laurens    (K=3654) on 11/4/2003
Wondering about the quality and durability? Never have owned a Tamron lens of any kind...

 Chris Lauritzen   (K=14949) - Comment Date 11/6/2003
Tamron lenses are good overall although I have never owned one or used one. This lens is a fix aperture zoom which in general will make it better just by its design.

 Ron Morse   (K=17) - Comment Date 12/19/2003
I know this is an old thread, but for the record I've been using the Tamron XR on my Drebel and am quite happy with the results. The Tamron XR series seem to be good value for the money and one never knows when one is going to need an extra F stop or two...
