Andrew;

For cityscapes and parks, you could do a lot worse than to go to the Annandale / Leichhardt areas. There are a couple of spots where you can find yourself looking towards the city skyline from the roadside, depending on where you are.

For hustle and bustle "street" style cityscapes, try some of the inner city suburbs like Newtown or Alexandria, but be warned - some of those areas can be rough.

For the city itself, I'd suggest anywhere areound the Martin Place area of the Sydney CBD, or you could try walking along george street in Parramatta.

Parkland wise there's Hyde Park in the centre of the city, The Domain, and Parramatta Park in Parramatta. These are only some of the more central ones. If you're not familiar with the city, purchase a UBD / Gregorys style street directory, most of these have parklands listed in the index.

These are just my suggestions, there's plenty of other places out in Sydney to get those styles of shot. Good Luck.

Some good shots from acorss the harbour towards Circular Quay. Then there is a really nice view(s) from the botanical gardens onto the city from that side.

The Anzac bridge can be really good at night from down Glebe way.

Always good to get a ferry or something and shoot some scenes from the water towards the city - especially on a nice day :)
