Q. Wanted Lubitel

I am looking to buy a lubitel. I've checked out ebay but i don't think i want to go that route.

Try freestylecamera.com or bhphoto.com. They should both carry it.

If you are looking for an affordable starter TLR to experiment with medium format, I'd recommend something a bit more reliable like a used Minolta Autocord, Yashicamat 124G, or Mamiya C330 (which has interchangeable lenses), and then if you decide it's not for you or you would like to upgrade, you can sell it for about what you paid for, or you can continue to use it for a long time to come.

On the other hand, if you're into funky East European cameras, Freestyle in L.A. has a good selection.

I got one at www.quadrobuy.com. It shipped from the Ukraine and took a month to arrive at a cost of around $47 including shipping. It appears ok but I'm still tring to determine if the lens is bad or if it's just me.

BTW the lubitel it perfectly reliable just hard to use at first.
