Ashley,
I've been tracking the prices from B&H and Adorama. They both are comparable in what they are asking for the 10D. The Rebel is so new I don't think you'll find any used ones on the market yet. The body on the Rebel should run you around $800.00 or so. I'd steer clear of E-bay on the Rebel for now. Some of those deals sound too good to be true and you know what that usually means! Check these two web-sites and see what you come up with.

www.adorama.com
There are others, of course, but these two vendors have been consistently good in my experience.

I did alot of research on both lens before I purchased the CDR. Some of the sites have decent prices on the 10d or CDR and found the sites that had the camera's for less than the retail price had the accessories for a huge mark up. Such as the compact flash cards, mack warranties, batteries etc. Like James said B&H & Adorama are good. I personally use Calumet Photographic. I have found the sales people to be invaluable! Happy Holidays! I would bet a nickel that if you only purchased the camera from those sites without an accessory purchase it would be on "back order".

Hi Ashely,
I saw a digtal Rebel for sale on Craigslist.org (Los Angeles section). According to the seller, she is selling it because she decided to upgrade to an even better camera. She didn't give a price and wanted people to make her an offer. Since you live so far away, I don't know how feasible or if it is worth the risk of buying from a stranger without inspecting the camera.
I would stick to a local seller or bite the bullet and buy a new one from a reputable store.
