Looking for this camera - anyone have it used?
Thanks

I have borrowed a friends XPan... found it very special... and so flexible in terms of switching from standard 35mm to panoramic... but I am not sufficiently skilled to fully appreciate all the aspects. www.hasselblad.com has a section dedicated to it with photos that are to be admired!
Enjoy

I have the XPAN II and am very happy with it. I started out with the original XPAN and traded it in on the II when it came out - it has some essential capabilities that the original XPAN lacked, long exposure capability in particular. The old XPAN may be available used, but I would strongly recommend spending the extra money for the XPAN II body.

The lenses are a bit slow, but I use a tripod 90% fo the time anyway. They also produce outstanding images. I have made 8.8in.X24in. panoramic prints using Fuji Velvia 'chromes that were scaned, with prints coming from an Epson 1280 printer. At this size, the prints are just eye-boggling!

The camera and lenses are small and very handy, yet they produce images of surprising and outstanding quality.
